AMAZING Press for Switch Vision

Switch Vision and their cutting edge sunglasses are on a run right now. The press has been discovering the product and they can't hold back from dishing out glowing reviews. Making their bold way to publications and the web, the press hits - They. Are. Coming!

Kiteboarder Magazine (June 2011 Issue):

Check out the smashingly wonderful review for the Boreal in Kiteboarder magazine, the author's personal favorite (opinions expressed are not necessarily, etc, etc...) piece of eyewear made by the folks at Switch. It provides maximum eye coverage and is a beautiful looking piece of recreational technology. Kiteboarding is a popular and rapidly growing sport, and the glare coming off water no matter what the weather - cloudy, windy, sunny, rain, or sleet, makes Switch Vision a perfect fit for the sport. Don't take my word for it, though*:

From The Kiteboarder Magazine

"The Boreal is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes who need superior optics, unquestionable comfort, and outstanding eye protection while having the versatility to change their lenses in a matter of seconds. These shades feature the world’s only Magnetic Interchange Lens System making changing lenses insanely fast. No matter what drives you to the great outdoors, the Boreal full frame from Switch Vision has you covered. Each Switch Vision Boreal Kit comes with a frame, two lenses, lens pod, and microfiber pouch. Switch sent us a pair to check out and we admit that the lens system is really cool."

In addition, Gear Court in Women's Outdoor Magazine gave Switch a pretty friendly - and quite detailed - review as well. If you are interested in sharing a great third party source for features and creative uses with friends or family, pass this one on...

Gear Court: When it comes to incredible eyewear, you will want to switch to Switch

"Switch is the world’s first eyewear with the Magnetic Interchange Lens System. Their trademark motto is, “See right in every light.” I was extremely excited to try out this unique interchange lens system, as I utilize protective eyewear in several different venues. When selecting the frames and lenses I was going to field test, I was amazed at the number of choices and it took a while deciding which of both would prominently suit my needs when shooting, motorcycling, fishing and many other outdoor activities I love to participate in.

I had never really considered the engineering that goes into a frame design. Switch frames are constructed of a tough, superior-grade thermoplastic nylon, able to withstand the demands of any sports lifestyle. One of the many features of the frames, besides the handsome, good-look of them, is that the lens shape and nose pads are designed to allow air to flow into the eye chamber to minimize fog build-up. This is an especially important feature, not just for safety in cycling, running or traveling through the field or woods to your favorite deer stand, where normal eyewear tends to steam up, but also in their function in the shooting sports. When aiming for that target, you certainly can’t have your shooting glasses fogging up on you.

The magnetic Switch frames are embedded with high-energy magnets to maximize magnetic adhesion of the lens to the frames. It’s so easy to change the lens out, they simply snap right into place. Yet, the lenses stay securely in the frame, even in the event you drop them or they are subjected to intense jarring, such as recoil when shooting a high-caliber gun.

Switch frames not only look good, they are exceptionally comfortable even after hours of wear. The frames are balanced to distribute weight equally on the bridge and behind the ear. The temples have been developed to distribute pressure along a wide surface area to avoid pinching.

Although it was a tough choice, I chose the Cortina Uplift frames. There were several attributes that I loved about these frames, but the main thing was they had the style and functionality that I desired. The frames also are available in a variety of colors, and I chose Gun Bronze (go figure). Along with that frame style, I chose three basic lenses for changing out; the Rose Amber for low light situations, the Polarized Contrast Amber Reflection Bronze, which work great when on the water fishing, and the True Color Grey-Reflection Silver, for intense to bright light.

Switch lenses eliminate dangerous UV light, screening out 100% of harmful UV light rays. The Switch polarized lenses eliminate blinding glare by stripping out the concentrated rays of light before they reach the eye. This feature enables you to see deeper into water in a lake, stream or river.

The Switch Magnetic Interchange Lens System is phenomenal and I would highly recommend and encourage you to check out the Switch Vision website atwww.switchvision.com. The website is packed with product and information about the product, enabling you to select from a wide variety of frames and an even greater selection of lenses.~Tammy Ballew"
